Practise division by 1
Practice division by 1 on Practise Maths! Improve your maths fluency by using the division tables. Division by 1 is introduced at the division key stage 1 (KS1). You can work on this by trying out our many maths exercises and maths games. Choose the 1 division table and start with a set of problems. This set includes 15 different division questions, and you’ll see your score at the end. Answer more than 13 questions correctly, and you’ll also receive a time score. Not satisfied with your score? Try again to improve it. You can even compare your score with classmates, making division by 1 practice fun and engaging using the 1 division table.

How does it work?

Curriculum
Students are expected to master division by 1 as part of the year 1 division curriculum. This falls under division key stage 1, where they’ll also learn to divide by 2, 5, and 10.
