Practise Year 5 Addition and Subtraction
On Practise Maths, you can improve your maths fluency for Year 5 addition and subtraction. The platform features a variety of maths exercises and maths games that allow you to practise at your own level. Before starting an exercise, you can choose which sums to practise, such as addition problems up to 100 or 1000. For an extra challenge, you can mix addition and subtraction problems together. Each exercise consists of 15 maths problems. If you get 13 out of 15 questions correct, your time score will be displayed. If you're not satisfied with your score, you can easily practise again. If you improve your previous score, a green bar will appear, indicating that you’re making great progress!
To make practicing addition and subtraction for Year 5 even more enjoyable, you can play maths games as well. Before the game begins, you can select which problems you want to practise. For example, choose subtraction problems up to 1000 if you find those challenging. Play the game Gravity Pod, where you guide the UFO to the correct location by answering as many questions correctly as possible to achieve the highest score. You can compare your score with your friends to see who can get the best results!
